Following Government instructions regarding group gathering and social distancing requirements. We will no longer until further notice, offer families the option of going to sea to be part of the committal service of their loved one, but will provide a video link for families to be part of the Sea Burial taking place aboard our vessel. Burials at Sea.co.uk will apply as normal for an MMO (Marine Management Organisation) licence for a Sea Burial following production of a Freedom from Infection Certificate, Death Certificate and a Coroner's Out of England Form 103 Certificate.

Although many people who have been buried at sea were sailors or navy personnel, anyone can have their body committed to the deep. Few people choose the sea as their final resting place but, for those that do, there is a small band of funeral directors, skippers and coffin makers around the country who know how it's done.

Mamarine can take you, your friends or loved ones (upto 18) out from the Marina, where we can berth and set the yacht to rest. From the rear of the Yacht you can pour the ashes into the sea and put in any floral tributes, buoquets or other memorable items.

We feel that by offering this additional service it is a natural extension of our boat services for families who wish to fullfill the wishes of their departed loved ones including their "loved" pets
