Our Partner Funeral Director Services


  • Meeting and Liaising with the Family of the Deceased
  • Available to you 24 hours a day 7 days a week
  • Arrangements made at the funeral directors or in the comfort of your own home
  • Arranging the Death Certificate, Freedom from Infection Certificate and obtaining a Coroners Out of England form 103
  • Sending these certificates to Mamarine for the MMO
  • (Marine Management Organisations) Burial at Sea to be obtained
  • The use of Full funeral home facilities
  • Collect the Deceased free of charge within 70 miles of Bournemouth.
  • Collection from anywhere in mainland UK (mileage Charge After 70 Miles)
  • Use of chapels with no time restrictions
  • Viewings available up to 24 hours prior to committal by appointment only
  • Assisting the family with the arrangements for the DNA Consent Form and transportation of the deceased to Southampton Hospital for the DNA samples to be obtained  (an MMO requirement from  1st October 2023).
  • Maintaining Contact with the Family, Coroner and Burials at Sea Company
  • Supplying an MMO compliant marine coffin
  • Preparing the Deceased for Burial at Sea
  • Maintaining contact with the Family prior to going to sea
  • Delivery and Transfer the Deceased to the boat prior to going to sea
  • Funeral Director to Accompany family at sea
  • Boat's Sound system can be used for your own prepared  "playlist" of  Music - IPhone/android connector

  • Floral Tributes (Moss Wreath & Stem Roses for those people aboard - Budget £100).
  • Follow on Wake Buffet  & Hospitality (wine & soft drinks - budget £250 based on up to 10 people aboard -additional guests agreed in advance) at The Mayflower Hotel Lymington

responsibility for obtaining the MMO licence though our MMO online account.
