WEATHER FORECASTS
We start our process by looking forward at a number of weather forecast sites for a suitable day / time to carry out a burial at sea prior to applying for an MMO Licence for a Sea Burial.
When we have identified a suitable date (or dates), these weather forecasts are then discussed with the instructing Funeral Directors to agree a provisional date or dates to work towards.
Thereafter a daily check on the forecast will be made and reviewed across a variety of weather forecasting sites to refine the chosen date /time – keeping the Funeral Directors updated at all times.
FINALISING DATE
About 48 /24 hours ahead of the forecasted date we will discuss and confirm this date/time with the Funeral Directors – any reservations as to the suitability of the weather to complete the Burial at Sea including passenger comfort will be discussed, agreed and /or a revised date confirmed.
MAMARINE.COM LLP RESERVE THE RIGHT TO NOT TAKE PASSENGERS*
