We will now provide at Cost an MMO Compliant Marine Coffin - Tailored made to the deceased - price on application.


We now invoice for our services on obtaining the MMO Burial at Sea Licence - payable in full on receipt by bank transfer


Funeral Directors wishing to provide their own Marine Coffin must provide a compliance certificate from MMO (Marine Management Organisation) for inspection and acceptance by us - we check the  marine coffin's  weight at the Loading Crane - any coffin not meeting the MMO Regulations will be rejected and the burial at sea will not proceed.

Boat, Skipper, Crew & Fuel, MMO Licence, All Marine & Harbour Dues for up to 10 passengers only


  • Tea/Coffee fo up to 10 guests a the Mayflower Hotel prior to going sea
  • Quayside Service with Minister (Fee up to £250)
  • Champagne Toast Aboard at the time of Committal              (2 bottles)
  • Floral Tributes (standard wreath & stem roses (£30)
  • Follow on Wake & Hospitality (wine soft drinks up to 10 guests (Budget £200) at The Mayflower Hotel Lymington*

From being notified of the death (usually from the Funeral Directors) we take full
responsibility for obtaining the MMO licence though our MMO online account.

The coffin and any inner liner must be made of natural, non-toxic materials.They must both be able to withstand any impact and be able to carry the body.
